Sinai Synagogue – an integral part of the South Bend community since 1932.

Sinai Synagogue is a proud part of the Masorti (Conservative) Movement, a dynamic blend of our inclusive, egalitarian approach and a commitment to Jewish tradition.

Life & Legacy

Roz & Ralph Berman...Miriam & Manny Price...Joan & Sam New...Jake & Rose Weingarten

These were forward thinking people. These are legacies that Sinai was blessed to receive years ago. We remember them…we appreciate their wanting to keep Sinai Synagogue for the future.

The Life and Legacy program is in its third year. Your memories at Sinai may be spent praying, reciting yahrzeit, observing the many Jewish holidays with friends and family, or celebrating one or more life cycle events. A legacy gift to Sinai Synagogue helps to insure future generations will be able to participate and create their Jewish memories at Sinai Synagogue as well.

Anyone can leave a legacy, and by participating in the community-wide Life and Legacy program, you can name Sinai Synagogue as a beneficiary in your will, retirement account, life insurance or other instrument. If you have already included a legacy gift in your will or estate plans, THANK YOU! Please download and fill out the letter of intent form, and notify myself or Rabbi Friedland, so that we can recognize your commitment and investment in our future.

Contact your attorney or investor and tell them that you would like Sinai Synagogue to be a part of your Legacy. Give your Sinai family the best opportunity to thrive in the future.

Leave your footsteps in the foundation of our synagogue. Once you have done so, please let us know.

Thank you,

Dan New
President of Sinai Synagogue
